Mobilizing for our Soldiers<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Resilience Farm at Vertigo\u2019s Eco-Art Village is a unique model that was developed within the Faculty of Psychology at Reichman University, and is operated in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, the IDF and the IDF Disabled People’s Organization. As part of the program, groups of 30 reservists who have been recognized by the authorities as coping with PTSD come to the village. The soldiers participate in a long series of therapeutic sessions – as a group and as individuals for a period of six months, three days every week.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

These are eight-hour days of activity take place in the green, remote and unique space offered by the Vertigo\u2019s village, where program participants take part in therapeutic workshops (chi-kung, meditation, sculpting and ecological building workshops, acupuncture, rehabilitative clowning, movement therapy). This program has led dozens of reservists with PTSD to make significant progress in their rehabilitation process. The program is accompanied by a multi-professional team that includes psychologists and social workers.<\/p>\n

The Program’s Goal<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The goal of the “Resilience Farm” program is to provide preventive treatment, reduce post-traumatic illnesses, and significantly reduce future outbreaks for soldiers serving the country.<\/p>\n
