\nAt Adamah Eco center<\/h2>\n

\n<\/strong>
\nThe Vertigo Eco-Art Village Adamah Project is aimed at demonstrating a holistic ecosystem
\nthat will have a zero ecological foot print. This is based upon our initial
\nexperience and facility that has already positioned Vertigo as a center for learning
\nabout our interaction with the environment. The Adamah Center will include the
\nDance studio and Learning Center. It will be a living laboratory enabling people
\nto learn how we can use nature\u2019s resources together with our human productions
\nto live in harmony with each other. By adopting a teaching by example approach
\nthe center will afford more people to the opportunity to learn about and explore
\navailable alternatives to sustainable living.
\nCreating the Adamah Center that goes beyond our startup phase in the converted
\nchicken coop requires a more integrated and sophisticated combination of the ecofriendly
\ncomponents that support our human\/daily living cycle. This new building
\nwill rest in part upon the existing environmental infrastructure components in the
\nEco-Art Village. Based upon our previous experience and new technologies the
\nAdamah Center will be a totally integrated eco-friendly training facility. It is our
\naspiration not only to be an environmentally self-sustaining facility, but by bringing
\ntogether all the elements of an eco-system, we can become a source of regeneration
\ncombining practice with research.<\/p>\n

Establishing the Holistic Eco System at the Vertigo Eco-Art Village provides an
\nopportunity to apply a community-engaged, interdisciplinary and integrated
\napproach. A state-of-the-art field laboratory will enable environmental
\nresearchers and educators from Israel and around the world to further explore,
\nconnecting together the social and cultural with technological and scientific
\nfields of practice.
\nThe holistic eco-system will integrate both the productive side and the
\nconsumption side of our human activity. In the Adamah Center the primary source
\nof energy which is at the heart of all artist creation will come from the Sun. Water
\nwill come from rain harvesting. Much of the food will be grown organically which
\nis based upon transforming the waste into sources of fertilizer and irrigation.
\nThis holistic eco-system will be composed of two linked systems
\nWater and Sewage
\n\u2022 Rain water harvesting
\n\u2022 Wetlands sewage treatment and irrigation
\n\u2022 Grey water system
\nEnergy and Compost
\n\u2022 Solar panels
\n\u2022 Bio gas
\n\u2022 Compost treatment<\/p>\n
