Klila is a full evening work by Ido Gidron, with the collaboration of dancers Dorit Talpaz & Shmuel Halfon.

Klila in Hebrew refers to the feeling of unity, being united. Klila tells the story of a mother, father and son, through different illustrative situations, that are facing their causes of being/not being a united family.

Ido Gidron is a performance artist, Dancer, Choreographer, instructor of Pilates and Gaga, the movement language made by Ohad Naharin.

He was born and raised in the mountains of Jerusalem, Israel. Ido graduated from the Academy for Music and Dance in Jerusalem, served in the IDF with an “outstanding performer” award, while dancing for Kibbutz contemporary Dance Company and Batsheva Dance Company. As a freelance dancer, Ido started to create his own works, and was working with choreographers like Idan Sharabi, Sharon Vazanna, Arkadi Zaides. Ido was a guest dancer with the Norwegian National Ballet in fall 2017. In 2021, Ido was an artist in residence at Kennesaw State University, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Currently, Ido is creating and teaching his own work, as well as working for choreographers Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and Elad Shechter.
